Janene and Warren Kershaw welcome Electric Vehicle drivers to charge and stay at Riverside Haven Holiday Park & Backpackers (www.riversidehaven.nz). They have several caravan plug sites available and recommend a walk (1 to 4 hour trails available) in Herbert Forest while your car charges if it is a day time visit. If you stay overnight in their accommodation or at a tent site, you can charge your car for free.
